Venus is a rock body resonator, it para-magnetically resonates incoming magnetic fields from ferro-magnetic sources (ie: sun and Jovians)

Note:  the seismic and eruptive distribution of these events is magnetically distributed based on incoming masses summarized at specific magnetic polarities. (Jupiter and Saturn have distinct differing magnetic polarity profiles - this effects their combined influence and the regions these effects are distributed.)
